A couple of things you should know before we get started, all payments are billed only in US Dollars ($). We are working hard to support other currencies and will update this article once it is. If you've subscribed to multiple creators they will show up separately and there will be a line item for each transaction on your credit card statement.
Become a Subscriber– support a creator's channel
Step 1: Visit your creator's Playeur channel and select one of their tiers. Selecting the tier of your choice will unlock the benefits offered in that tier. The tier price is the amount that you will be invoiced each month to unlock access.
If your creator doesn’t have Tiers, that means they have not enabled the option. To Become a subscriber send us an email on our contact page and we'll reach out to the creator on your behalf!
Step 2: Add your payment method and confirm your membership details
Once you've made your tier selection and clicked on Subscribe, if you are not logged in you'll be taken to the login page, where you'll be asked to login. If you don't have an account hit the sign-up link to create an account.
If you are logged in + but have not previously added a credit card you'll be taken to a checkout page. Enter your card information and click on Complete Purchase.
If successful you'll see the following message appear:
If you are logged in + you've previously added a credit card you'll be taken to an express checkout page where you can select a card on file and complete payment.
Congratulations! You are now a subscriber. After confirming, you'll be sent to the creator's channel and be able to enjoy all the benefits you just unlocked.
My payment is declining
Hey we're on the same page here we want you to process your card and we want you to enjoy your creator's benefits. If you run into the warning message payment is not processed.
Stay cool! We can fix this, we recommend trying the following:
Step 1: Contact your bank
Banks will decline transactions, hey they are looking out for your best interest, give them a call and ask them to allow future authorizations, and charge attempts from "Playeur, Inc." to be accepted, that should help going forward.
Step 2: Ensure the funds are available on your payment method
Step 3: Check your payment details
Double check the card information and make sure it matches up with your credit card. Lastly, make sure your card hasn't expired. If your card has expired try using your new credit card or a different card.
Step 4: Make sure you're using a valid payment method
We currently do not accept prepaid cards, so be sure to use a valid credit card or visa debit card.
Manage my active subscription list
You can update your memberships or payment methods from the subscription tab. To get there click on your profile image in the upper right corner to open the "user menu," and click Settings from the menu.
How to update payment methods
Click on the Payments tab. In this section, you will find payment history which includes, the purchase date, channel names and tiers, prices, and method of payment used.
Step 1: To update your credit card click on the "edit" button on the right-hand side of the credit card logo.
Step 2: To update the card, update the expiry date and CVV. If you want to delete the card hit the delete button.
How to cancel a subscription or change payment methods
Step 1: Click on the Subscriptions tab. On this tab, you will be able to view all your subscriptions and toggle between active and expired. Next, you will want to click on "Edit" on the subscription card you want to cancel/change payment methods on.
Step 2: To cancel click on do not renew. If you are trying to cancel within the first 24 hours after subscribing you will need to wait until after this period. For more information go read and check out our cancellation policy help article.
Step 3: This step is only applicable if you would like to change payment methods on an existing subscription. First off: make sure you have added more than 1 credit card to your profile or else you will not be able to change your payment method. Click on "Change Payment Method", next you will see the following pop-up screen select the credit card you wish to change to and then click "Change Method"
